As a service provider, your people are your business’s most important asset; they are one of the most significant factors in why people choose you over your competitor down the road.

Getting them involved in your marketing will get more eyes on your content, enable you to reach their network and build trust. This will drive more leads and open up sales conversations.

Great right? The reality is that it can be difficult to get your people involved in your marketing. They wonder:

  • What’s in it for me?
  • What happens if I want to move on and I’ve spent all my time sharing posts about my current work?
  • No one is that interested in what I have to say.
  • It’s another thing for me to do.
  • I don’t understand what I need to do.

In 2025, you need them to create their own personal brand – one that links with your value proposition, showcases their opinions, celebrates the positives and demonstrates shared values.

Melanie Johnson delivering a social media workshop

Personal branding training. What’s the benefit?

Research from the Digital Marketing Institute discovered that more than 30% of high-growth firms are utilising employee advocacy on social media.

Your people are the face of your business, and encouraging them to talk about their own experiences, the causes you champion, and what happens in the workplace will help you create a compelling story that attracts the right clients and the right talent.

It’ll also benefit them because you are investing in their growth and development; they’ll be more visible and, therefore, more likely to be promoted and advance their careers. My employee branding sessions are designed to help you create a team of advocates who are confident talking about their work and themselves online.

How does it work?

Employee branding workshops are bespoke to your business’s needs run for half a day. The training is a mix of theory a practical exercise on personal branding and implementation.

We cover:

  • An introduction to personal branding, what it is and what it isn’t.
  • An exercise on defining your personal brand and what you feel confident in sharing.
  • How to optimise your social media profile.
  • The power of engagement
  • The importance of employee advocacy.
  • The anatomy of a high-performing post.

The sessions mix practical information, discussions, and implementation, with plenty of time to ask questions.

There will also be a follow-up session 2-4 weeks later to answer any questions and ensure you are taking action.

Investment: Costs are bespoke to your requirements and dependent on the number of attendees. Workshops can be delivered online or in person.
